# Immutable server release
|
|
|
|
Copy server/.env.example to a local settings file outside this release.
|
|
Accept the Minecraft EULA before setting MC_EULA=TRUE.
|
|
|
|
Set MC_ROOT to an absolute server root and MC_RELEASE_DIR to this release.
|
|
Use the same Compose project name for all releases:
|
|
|
|
```bash
|
|
docker compose --project-name minecraft-lab-spike --env-file /absolute/local-settings.env -f "$MC_RELEASE_DIR/server/compose.yaml" config --quiet
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
This release uses offline authentication and IPv4 loopback.
|
|
server/config overrides corresponding pack settings at startup.
|
|
Runtime-generated server.properties is configured through Compose environment.
|
